This log splitter is great. I have the 8 ton model and have split oak,
cherry, maple, Fir Pine, and Alder as well as Cedar with this splitter. It
has handled them all without a problem. I would buy another one if your

I can't believe the
size of wood this splitter handles. I had a tree taken down that was at
least 24" in dia at the main trunk that I cut in 18" lengths. I haven't
found anything that the splitter wouldn't go thru. I think if I can get it
on the splitter it will take care of it. Steven T. May 2007

Just wanted to let you know the splitter arrived the day you said it would
be here. I took it out of the package and started using it that day. The
unit works real well and gives me the right amount of exercise to stay
healthy. My doctor told me to exercise a half hour a day, that sounds like
work. Now I kill two birds with one stone, I split wood for a half hour
and get my exercise and heat our house at the same time. I would not be

I received my 8 ton splitter today and just finished trying it out on a
few logs. All I can say is, WOW!. This is too easy, almost like cheating.
I had a few logs that absolutely refused to split with my maul. The
splitter broke them like they were butter. I really can't tell you how
much I am impressed with your product. Now all I have to do is to figure
out how to keep my wife away from it. When she sees it and how easy it is
to use, she'll want to do the splitting. Thanks for a truly fantastic

I received the 12-ton logsplitter I ordered BEFORE Christmas (thank you!).
My husband has been outside splitting the pile of WET wood that has been
in our driveway for over a month, and has almost found the bottom of the
pile. He said he split about 1/2 cord in 2 hours!!
He has a cardiac history, and is THRILLED that he no longer has to rely
on our 2 boys for help or swing an axe - he can transport AND operate
this splitter by himself.

THANK YOU! We are SO happy we found this product - much smaller than
the giant gas powered splitters, more economical that electric (since
our rates are increasing 50% in January - YIKES!!).

Just received my 8 ton Mini Splitter, it's snowing and I'm splitting wet
16-20" Douglas fir rounds from the last wind storm. This machine works

My father-in-law for whom I bought the log splitter is 82 years old. He
was splitting his fire wood with a maul but was finding it increasingly
harder to do. We purchased your 6 ton splitter for him as a Christmas
present. He just called to tell us how great it works and what little
effort it takes him to now split his fire wood. Just thought you would

Just received my 12 ton minisplitter. I love this splitter. It works
better than I could have imagined and I will never go back to a maul and
ax again. Sitting down and actually playing a game of checkers with my
friend as I split a half cord of wood is simply amazing. Thank you for

We received the splitter yesterday, and my father-in-law was very
impressed with the packaging. Very sturdy he said, without even a dent in
the boxes. This after ordering and receiving a 5 Ton electric splitter
where the box and all the inside packing was practically destroyed when it
arrived. That splitter wouldn't even dent a piece of mesquite, so it was
returned to the seller. Here's what my father-in-law had to say about your
12-Ton splitter:" This is the one. This is the log we barely made a dent
in before. This thing marched right on thru it. So it passed the hardwood
test. It will split anything we throw at it now I am sure. We have a
winner!" Thanks for providing such a good product. We plan to give it a
good workout this season.
